Out of six purchases from Snowcovered in the last two months, two have been complete waste of money. We never could get the applications to work, we never got support from the sellers, OR from Snowcovered and we have been stiffed for the money because they refused a refund. When I look at a product on Snowcovered from a developer who claims to have been active since 2005 and there are NO reviews of the 20-30 products he/she offers and there is NO website listed for the products, I have to think that there is NO real product. Especially when I read in the forums here that someone purchased this module and it doesn't work.

Yes buyer beware, but in the case of most of the products on Snowcovered, there is no trial period. How do you adequately test a product without having it loaded on your site? The few who allow a trial simply restrict the use to http://localhost, which works for me just fine. If I can try it on my machine and decide if it will work I will buy it.

I think Snowcovered looks like a great deal, but there is apparently no oversite, and apparently Snowcovered doesn't give a rat's ass if their customers get value or not, it's all about the mighty $.

I'm not blasting every software developer that uses Snowcovered because we have got some good packages there, just that Snowcovered needs to stand behind the products they are getting paid for selling.
