I have a client with a membership of around 8,000, an Access database, with race stats and results that I want to integrate into their DNN website, and I was hoping to get some advice on different options available.

There are two goals:

  1. Using SQL queries to pull race results and stats into a module. Possibly using the Reports module or something similar.
  2. Arrange it so that when a rider logs into the website they are associated with their personal stats. Should I be looking at using one of the bulk user import modules. If so, how do I insure that a racer is associated with the name and stats in the Access database. Or is there someway to set it up so that after a racer registers with the site, they're either automatically associated with a name in the Access database, or manually associated. I think I would prefer the later, so that racers could determine their own user names and passwords.

I assume, that I should just be able to place the database in the File Menu, and run queries off of it from there, replacing it with an updated database after the latest race, just creating another Report of the latest race.
Any help in pointing me down the path of enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

you might use the mass import for the users and create a custom module to present the appropriate data from the races, either kept im the access database or imported into the sql database as well.
