Hi,
I have created a language pack in version 4.0.2 (for icelandic). How can I "upgrade" the language pack for DNN version 4.4.1, without having to go through all the translation work again. Clearly, many of the language files have been changed from version 4.0.2 to 4.4.1. Also, many of the modules have a later version (have been upgraded when included in v. 4.4.1).

Thanks,
Olafur

Hi Olafur,

after you upgraded the portal with the previous language pack installed, call the resource verifier inside Host :: Languages and run it. I usually print the results, so I have it as a guide, when going through the resource files and completing them in the language editor. Orphaned files can be deleted using File System access, orphened entries get deleted, when saving the file in the language editor.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
