How do I change "Site Navigation" to "Local Directory?" In other words, how do I change the text string displayed at the top of the tree view menu? ...and how do I style the text differently? I tried editing the CSS, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I think I need some funky chain of classes and ids, like...

#idname #idname2 .classname {
/*style rules here*/
}

...but I can never figure out those cascading chains of ids and classes.

Here's a link to the site I'm referring to which is under development:

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John

You will find that the client web navigation document in the download section has a good section explaining the controls for tree view menu. few months ago I did manage to develope a good tree menu using just this doc.

I couldn't find the document you're referring to. Could you supply a link? Also, is Visual Studio required for this? Isn't there just an XML file or configuration file or something where I can change a text string? I hope it's not hard-coded in some file that I have to compile with Visual Studio.

Also, is there a way to have left navigation without using the tree explorer? I don't like how the tree explorer view requires that the visitor click a tiny plus symbol to expand folders. That's terrible from a usability standpoint, especially for elderly website visitors. I'd like just a simple list of links that expands when you go from one page to the next, or some kind of son-of-suckerfish fly-out menu system or something.

Please advise, and thank you!
