I have a application developed in VS05/NET2 that was developed as a stand alone application.

The application utilizes the generic membership provider within net2, but also utilizes controls like RAD... .

My question is how do I trigger the application within a portal, utilized the dotnetnuke membership provider?  What/where should I place the application within the donnetnuke framework?

I'm hosting my solution on a dedicated box with SQL2005.

Any help would be appreciated.

You cant really just place an existing application INSIDE dnn.

DNN has a set of pretty tightly defined ways of doing things that your application must follow.

At the core of these - is that all elements in the system must be based on the concept of a DNN Module.

This is the minimum generic DNN wrapper for any block of code / layout.

So as to how - you would need to port your application code to DNN modules to take advantage of what the DNN framework provides.
