Hi guys,

I have downloaded DNN (DotNetNuke_4.3.7_Install)  and properly installed it. I have no problems running this application but I want to modify some areas (modules) as my requirement is differ than avaailable. I use VS2005 with framework 2.0 . I could not find out the classess (*.CS) , so I downloaded DotNetNuke_4.3.7_Source and added the classes but unfortunately when I put a break (stop) it does not work.

Can anyone guide me how to do this. I have really stucked with this problem. Thanx in advance.

Best Regds,
Shiran

Firstly ... DNN is based around VB.NET so you wont find any .cs files lying around.

In terms of getting breakpoints to fire in VS2005 - you will need to set the debug=true flag inside the web.config file for starters.

What exactly are you trying to do ...

Hi Westa,

Why I mentioned abt .cs bcause I added a module called wwstore, which i downloaded from the net. Its written in c#. I can just forget abt it if u can tell me how to debug a properly installed DNN application. I checked my web.config file its alredy true. I want to change some coding. for exsample in wwstore module a user has to log in before checkout (send his request via an email) . I wan to take out the logging must part.

Thanks for ur immediate reply for the earlier question.

Cheers
Shiran
