the problem is solved by code under.

Dim ds As New DataSet

ds.ReadXml(Server.MapPath("TimeZones.xml"))
cboTimeZone1.DataSource = ds
cboTimeZone1.DataBind()

Now pls tell me how I can apply this timezone . here cbotimezone is a dropdownlist

Sandesh,

The code for changing the time zone of the portal should also be in TimeZoneEditor.ascx.vb, in the cmdUpdate_Click event handler.
