Ok here is the scenario,

I have created a pane in my skin called UtilityRightPane where I can put quick links and such.  I have created a module with an edit page that is accessible to all users (its a screen to read a publication).  Basically when the page loads with the view control displaying the skin used is just fine.  When I click on a publication in the list and go to the next screen it of course uses the admin skin ...

In the admin skin I've also placed the UtilityRightPane Pane.  I've placed a module in that pane and set it to "Show on all pages" but when I go to the second page to read my selected publication the module no longer displays in UtilityRightPane.  I would post a url to illustrate what I mean better but this site is still in development and is presently sitting behind a firewall.

Am I making sense?  What would be causing this?  Basically whatever data I have in my UtilityRightPane disappears when I go to an edit screen ...

When a control is set to be an "Edit" control, no other modules are rendered on the page with the module.  You would need to look at handling the page as a view control to get around this issue.
