Hi All,

I've searched high and low, but couldn't find specifics about this, so here goes...

I have a DNN 3.0.12 installation which has been working beautifully - so well in fact that I applied the "if it ain't broke don't fix it". However, I'd now like to upgrade to 4.5.0 when it's released.

Has anyone done an upgrade from such an old version? Do I need to do it incrementally, or are the latest versions backward compatible?

I also have ActiveForums 2.2 installed. As later versions running under .Net 2.0 use the .Net user/roles model will it mean I lose all my forum postings (or at least the link to the users who posted).

Any advice would be gratefully received!

George
