I'm having couple of issues here that I would be grateful if someone could help me with:

1. Which core files do I have to modify so I could include the custom profile values sent in the email upon registration, etc.? (e.g. Custom Value: [Profile:CustomValue]) I'm having trouble locating them. Of course I'll have trouble every time I upgrade the DNN version, but I don't have a choice since there is no easier way of accessing those custom profile values.

2. The other problem is that there are only two sites where users are trying to checkmark the box to save the username (one site is mine, and one more person is having same trouble, but no one was able to give the solution) =>I'm just being sarcastic here<=. I tried setting the value of persistent cookie to a high number, but it has no impact whatsoever. Does anybody have a solution for this problem?

Thanks,

Waldis

The answer for the number (1) I got figured out, see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/119242/scope/posts/Default.aspx

As far as the number (2) I heard there is a problem in .NET framework itself and we gotta blame Microsoft now, but that doesn't make me feel better, I will have to provide that functionality to my clients now since it's possible availability has been exposed, so I can't just remove it and pretend like it never happened.

Is it really that nobody is actually using that function since it's not working? Why is it there then?!?
