Mike and others who want to use DotNetNuke to build band pages,

Just found this EXCELLENT FAQ page that lists exactly how to embed plus a lot of the problems we had plus solutions. (I just hit the problem where my mp3 sounded like a 45 playing at 33 speed! I had to reencode the mp3. I was going crazy! The mp3 worked everywhere, including the DNN Media player, but didn't sound right on the Flash player.)

http://www.cbpp.org/code/flvplayer/readme/readme.html

(It also tells you how to get rid of the click here to activate, which I don't mind....)

Best,

Katherine

Awesome... thanks so much, Katherine.  I've been looking for a good way to do prevent the activation... worked like a champ too, on the first try no less!  :)

Take care,
Mike

Hey, Mike, I see that you sell T-shirts and bumper stickers...  in addition to downloading music via a flashplayer.

I'd love to talk to you about your experience (if you know of your daughter's experience) with purchasing that stuff. My contact info is on the website...  in case they kick us off here...

Do bumper stickers and T-shirts sell? And is all cotton better than the polyblend? And did you get them printed locally or from an online shop? (And how many did you print at first?) Looks like you are more experienced in this than I am.

Best,

Katherine

Mike I actually got CoffeeCup's Web Jukebox player to work in about 5 minutes.  You can check it out here http://evelynwalters.com/dnn/MyMusic/tabid/54/Default.aspx there are several skins available, and it is very easy to setup and use.

Cheers,

Wayne

Thanks Wayne... I was actually looking more for an opensource flash MP3 player, not something you can purchase... and the XSPF player seems to fit the bill.  Once I got the code right (and it was *very* anal about having the right code in there), its been working like a champ!

Thanks again!
Mike
