HELP!  My system administrator just installed SP2 on a windows 2003 R2 server and it seems to have broken my (recently upgraded to 4.4.1) DNN site.  All I see now is the menu bar across the top with register and login under that to the right and the footer of the page at the bottom.  All links from the menu show the same behavior.  When I try to login I get this error message:

A critical error has occurred.
Unable to cast object of type 'System.Guid' to type 'System.IConvertible'.

A critical error has occurred.
Unable to cast object of type 'System.Guid' to type 'System.IConvertible'.

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior?  I tried a repair of .Net 2.0 framework which didn't change anything.  Can I repair the installation or reinstall DNN somehow?

Any ideas???

We also are doing SQL server replication which adds a new column into each table.  Could that be breaking it?

That is very odd, I have about 10-12 web servers (some R2, some not) I maintain that have all had SP2 applied and I have not experienced this issue.

Could you please post what is in the Event Viewers/Application log? I'd be interesting in seeing the full error message.

I wish I could say that there is something showing up in the Application Log but unfortunately there is nothing regarding this at all!  The only record of anything at all is in the IIS log which is as follows:

2007-04-02 18:08:24 192.168.1.251 GET /dnn - 80 - 192.168.1.251 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+7.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 301 0 0
2007-04-02 18:08:24 192.168.1.251 GET /dnn/Default.aspx - 80 - 192.168.1.251 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+7.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 200 0 0
2007-04-02 18:08:29 192.168.1.251 GET /DNN/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx - 80 - 192.168.1.251 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+7.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 302 0 0
2007-04-02 18:08:29 192.168.1.251 GET /DNN/Default.aspx tabid=36&error=Unable+to+cast+object+of+type+'System.Guid'+to+type+'System.IConvertible'. 80 - 192.168.1.251 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+7.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 200 0 0
2007-04-02 18:10:15 192.168.1.251 GET /DNN/images/red-error.gif - 80 - 80.229.139.52 Mozilla/5.0+(Windows;+U;+Windows+NT+5.1;+en-GB;+rv:1.8.1.3)+Gecko/20070309+Firefox/2.0.0.3 200 0 0

and you can see that there's really nothing to see there.  The url for the site is http://www.gerrardclassicautocollection.com/dnn/

I'm really starting to suspect that it's a result of a replication snafu.
