what happened to permissions?

I thought there was an apply permissions to all subfolders/files ..   in 4.4.1 I dont see that..

Im having a problem, a new folder is created (ventrian simple gallery) and they are not getting the permissions like the parent has....

If the folders no not expand the it may be because of compression interferring with the Ajax post-back.

Try removing the compression module in the HttpModules section to see if that fixes it.

Thanks for your help John, I had a look through my sites files and folders and couldnt find the compression module.

If you can give me some more detailed instructions to remove the compression module it would be greatly appreciated.
