hi,

Recently we moved a DNN3.2.2 website from source to destination;

Source: Windows 2003 SP1 & MSSQL2000 SP4

Destination: Windows 2003 SP2 & MSSQL2005 SP1

We encountered following error;

A critical error has occurred.
Multiple controls with the same ID 'ctr' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs.

None of the following resolution worked;

1. We removed the suspected modules and re-added them

2. Reverted the skin file to the original one

Any prompt help in this regard is appreciated.

thanks
-Faisal

I'm not a specialist on this but I heard you can get into trouble with some Stored Procedures if you upgrade to SQL 2005

The stored procedures we wrote, don't have any problem. We migrated them to SQL2005 sometime back.

Can you please identify which DNN stored procedures create problem when migrated?

thanks

I don't remember the exact story anymore but I think it was about custom modules, not the core modules.
