My host provider is telling me that Gallery does not work with DNN 4.4.1.

Can someone confirm or deny it please?

I don't know if it will  work, but if it would I wouldn't advice you to use it.
It's not a very good module IMHO (understatement)

Timo,

Then what would you suggest for a gallery function? Anything else out there?

(You have no idea the days I've put in trying to figure out why download permissions didn't work because the default search on this forum didn't go back far enough to see that this is an inherent problem with this beta module.)

I need a better gallery module and an mp3 player that can function like the one on myspace, but through dnn.

Any suggestions for either appreciated.

I didn't use any gallery modules the way you want to use it.
I used this one
but I don't think it can do what you want,  might have a look at the commercial version or search on snowcovered.
By the way if you want to search the forums, you can use this page I created (it gives you better results then the default forum search)

I use DNN Photo Gallery, I like it.  You might ask them about the mp3 issue before puchasing.
