Internally we typically limit our clients to 1000 automated emails (class updates, tageted mailings etc) per day and reccommend them to a service like constant contact for the big jobs (some have memberships of 50,000+.) Is there a way to set caps on the maximum distribution list size so a client doesn't destroy our mail servers for hours at a time and get our IP's blacklisted? Also it would be nice to target an alternate mail server than the DNN install uses in our case DNN uses the internal MS Mail Server but we've got a dedicated mail server that is far more capable for sending larger mailings. Also does the Newsletter mod provide any level of list management (Opt Outs, Undeliverables, etc)

It appears as though the mail limit/scheduling was not added in this version. This is my prime requirement too as I keep getting blacklisted.

The ability to schedule batch jobs against a campaign is being tested now.  It will be available in v1.0.4.  To submit a Campaign as a single job, enter -1 into the Batch Limit field in the Campaign details screen.  Otherwise enter the number of emails to send in each batch.

In regards to list management, you can manage Opt-Ins using the NukeAlert Opt-In module.

The ability to allow people to unsubscribe by replying, detect when read, link tracking and statistics (such as % using AOL) will be added to v2.0.

To run a batch or an entire Campaign run on another server, simply enter the Server name into the Schedule.

v1.0.5 has been released (Production Version).  If you installed any previous version, you will need to uninstall it before installing the production version.

There are also sample Campaigns available for download on the Free Downloads page on www.OnyakTech.com.

v1.0.6 has been released with updates to scheduling.  Note that the issue with the install of the NukeAlert Opt-In module has been fixed.

Also.... new changes are going into the module now so that you can generate dynamic reports based on the user the email is being sent to.

Please note that there is a new release of the Op-In module that comes with Nuke Alert.  This new release contains a few patches when working with campaigns that no longer exist.

Currenly being added to Nuke Alert is the ability to set dynamic content based on the user and the ability to allow users to subscribe to multiple campaigns from a single module instance.
