Hi
My UDT module contains some links on .doc-files . Links are presented as small pictures (not Download type, it realised with
Rich Text(HTML) ).
I need to permit registered users to dowload or open this files and not-registered users only to open this files....

How can I do this? As there are any modules providing this feature?

P.S. I am really sorry for my english =) I hope you'll understand something =)

Kostya,

Generally you can use different views with different view permissions assigned to present the same rows differently to users according to login status and role assignment.

If you want to display a static text or image for a download, use the download data type and put the text or img tag in the extended settings column.

as long as you are using .doc files, they always get downloaded to the client when viewing them and the user has the option to save them. If you convert the content to .html, the users can copy and paste - this is a usual problem, that users usully can get access to every content they get displayed.

Sorry, no download counts possible using UDT, and it is not part of our current development.

I added it as feature request to the tracker: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?p=15&i=5451
