I just installed version 03.03.07.  I have an event that starts at 12 PM and ends at 5 PM.  In the list view, it displays the start time as "12:00 PM" and the end time as "5:00:00 PM".  Is there any way to remove that extra 00 at the end?  I don't think anyone needs to know down to the second when the event ends.

Also, is there an easy way to not display the time at all?  I would like to be able to show in the list view just the event with its corresponding date.  The time really isn't necessary.

I've replied to this on the site....the reason this was left in has to do w/Localization (supporting other languages) and using the built-in .NET conversion features...if I customize it, we lose the ability to convert formats (french, german, etc.)...and/or I would have to write a bunch of code to support language switching.  I know it's a bummer, but I feel it's more important to make this module (and DNN) an international application!

To answer your second question, you can easily (using settings) control what fields get displayed...the only field that is required is the short event description.

The difference is due to the use (in EventList.ascx) of DateTime format specifier 'g' (short date, short time) for the start date and time and 'G' (short date, long time) for the end date and time. Not quite sure if this was by design or not.

Because I need to use the list view (for either 7 days or 30 days of events)  in a narrow left pane, I've always edited EventList.ascx to use format 'DDD, MMM dd - hh:mm t' for the start time and used the nice configuration feature of turning off the display of the end date and time. Easy to do - just remember to make the change each time the module is upgraded.

Thanks for the suggestion Bill.  It makes sense if you are not running a localized site.  But I caution you if you need localized date/time formats...'DDD, MMM dd - hh:mm t' is not a localized format and will not work for all languages/locations!
