I have no idea why that is even happening because the code that the error refers to should not even exist in 4.5...I would recommend posting this question in one of the main forums though, because it is not an issue with the Reports module, it is an issue with the core module installer.

I got this same error in 4.4.1 using hosting at 1and1.com.  Then I deleted everything from my site, emptied the database, installed 4.5.1 and ended up with the same error.  I get the error on some of the pages, but not all.  It is like the portal has a flat tire.  I can still drive it, but it keeps failing.  Take a look at

http://s203381010.onlinehome.us/ocstc/

And you will see that the portal partially comes up, but coughs up this error in several places.

Well, I am a bit shocked, but I think I may have fixed the problem.  I found a web page on the net describing this error and a reply to it which recommended setting an attribute on the trust level in web.config.

http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread636697.html

After reading this page I changed

<trust level="Medium" originUrl=".*"/>

to

<trust level="Medium" originUrl=".*" processRequestInApplicationTrust="false"/>

After this change it seems that the errors are gone.  I have not tested it a lot, but I have not seen the error since the change.

Well, it seems that I only sort-of fixed it.  The portal seems to be working now, but I do get an error on each page, still.  The error isn't enough to kill the portal.  It just shows the red exclamation icon in the center top of the page and says "A critical error has occurred.  Attempt to access the method failed."

The rest of the page displays normally.  How do I locate a log with some details of what is going wrong?
