Hi Sebastian,

where exactly in the web.config you define the charset? Can you provide an example, please?

Thanks,
Franco

Take a look at:

http://www.w3.org/International/O-HTTP-charset

The section in web.config is:

<globalization

culture="en-US"

   uiCulture="en"

   requestEncoding="UTF-8"

   responseEncoding="UTF-8"

   fileEncoding="UTF-8"/>

I think Cyrillic would be:

<globalization
   culture="ru-RU"

   uiCulture="ru"

   requestEncoding="ISO-8859-5"

   responseEncoding="ISO-8859-5"

   fileEncoding="ISO-8859-5"/>

But --  UTF8 encoding should display Cyrillic fine.

Well, I have the globalisation section in the web.config file, but no charset definition in the page, for some reason..
I had to add manually in default.aspx the following:

<html>
<head id="Head" runat="server">
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="html/text; charset=utf-8">
