Does anyone have an idea about this? This is a seroius issue for me.

My first guess would be that you have a timeout value set fairly short for login (Under the <forms> tag within web.config) that is causing the error.  However, I do not remember ever seeing this error myself.

What value do you have specified for the timeout?

It's set to 60
<authentication mode="Forms">
      <forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="60" cookieless="UseCookies" />
    </authentication>

I changed the timeout to 180 and I'm still getting the error in Windows event viewer every couple minutes.

I also get the error in event viewer: Event message: Forms authentication failed for the request. Reason: The ticket supplied was invalid.

Any help from the core team would be greatly appreciated, I'll try anything at this point. I going move my site to another server to see if that resovles anything. Like I said, my real issue is that certain users are complaining about getting logged off while browsing the site.

This is very intersting, I am looking through my event viewer here on my local DNN installations and I am not finding anything like that.

Have you tried to google for the specific error message?
