Editing vendors details send me the following error (I am logged in with host account...) :

You don't have permission to see the files on the site

Check screen capture below:

Very annoying. Any idea ??? I have just upgraded from DNN 4.4.1 to DNN 4.5.0 to DNN 4.7.0
Same problem on another test DNN (local and remote).

Same problem if I add a banner to this vendor.
Same problem if I had a vendor.

This appears to not be an error with Vendors or Banners, but rather a problem with the permissions on the root Folder for your portal. If you visit File Manager and select the Root folder node, so you have the Security permissions set correctly in the bottom portion of the screen? The other item I would check is if there were any errors recorded in the 04.05.00.log file ( which you can view at the bottom of the Host / Host Settings screen ). We use Vendors and Banners extensively on dotnetnuke.com and they are working fine - so I would have to believe this is a data problem related to your installation.

This happens on all the places that use the Url control on a new install.

Going into File Manger and updating permissions fixes it.

I am logged in as HOST. Consequently, I should have ALL permissions. nevertheless, I have checked inside Admin > File Manager menu, and it seems ok (I refresh it, updated it, grant host read/write access), nothing helps.

No error recorded in the 04.05.00 log file.

For your information, I have set-up a fresh DNN 4.4.1, then upgraded to 4.5.0 and the problem appears again. Any other idea ? It would be great if I can access the table to check, which SQL should I run ?
