Yes, I have found the folder, but I am unable to use the newsreader without getting the errors mentioned above despite hours of pouring through the forums and changing permissions to pages and modules throughout the site.

I am using dnn 3.013 and blog 3.01.18

Is there nowhere I can change the width?

You are using the NewBlog module and not the blog module we are talking about in this forum.

You should upgrade your (NewBlog) module with the version 03.01.20 (of the blog module) and if the upgrade (cross grade) to this version has been finished you should upgrade to the current version 03.02.00.
