Bought a skin on snowcovered.com.  And tried on a new created portal, it works well.  But when apply it to the portal that is acutally running and using, the problem occurs.  The skin is correctly applied to all pages EXCEPT the homepage.  The homepage still shows the old skin and old logo picture.

Any one have the same problem?

Any thoughts?

The previous skin probably had a separate layout for the site home page... this is common. To change it, browse to the home page while logged-in as administrator, select page settings, scroll way down in advanced settings, under skin -> choose 'not specified' to make this page use the same skin set in site settings.  Same thing with container, if necessary.
