I am trying to edit the style sheet under Admin > Site Settings > Stylesheet editor and am having problems getting the back ground to display. I changed the Body class and when I reload I see the background for a second and then it disappears. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Do I need to display the default skin? Thanks in advance for any help.

Robert

The editor changes default.css and that one is likely being over-ridden by the skin's CSS file, try changing that one.
The cascade order is default.css --> skin.css --> portal.css

I suggest you use firebug to help you track down styles that are being overriden.  This way you can tell which files contain a particular style definition very easily.

Ehh.. I think the editor changes portal.css, not default.css

You are correct, Timo. Thanks.
