I want to ensure that the user only inputs valid swedish social security number so i have added a RegularExpressionValidator to the Username property (UserInfo.vb) like:

RegularExpressionValidator("\d{12}")> _
Public Property Username() As String

which works fine. However, when i fires, it displays "Username is Invalid" and I just can't seem to find where this message is stored? Even a global search inside all DNN files gives me nothing.

In SharedResources.resx there is a:

The username specified is invalid. Please specify a valid username.

But that doesnt seem to be used here at all (which is kind of strange).

Where can I change (ie Localize) this message? Isn't there a better way to accomplish this (swedish social security numbers) than patching the Core?

/pJ
