How do I get my DNN 4.5 install to use the same Text editor as is found in this forum. I the latest forum install aswell but my text editor is the Blue one. Also allows any user to access the clip board which this forums text editor seems to prevent.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark-

It sounds like you're looking for the FCK editor, which the default editor in 4.5. Did you upgrade from a previous version?

If 4.5 is installed, you'll have a folder \Providers\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\FckhtmlEditorProvider and DotNetNuke.FckHtmlEditorProvider.dll in the \bin folder, as well as a section in the web.config:

  <htmlEditor defaultProvider="FckHtmlEditorProvider">
   <providers>

           <add name="FckHtmlEditorProvider" ...

If this is the case, all you have to do is change the defaultProvider setting from Ftb3HtmlEditorProvider to FckHtmlEditorProvider.

If you do not have the provider installed, you can download it from the downloads page, copy the files to the appropriate locations and then make the web.config settings as instructed in the install.txt file that comes with the provider.

Hope this helps.
