In DNN 4.5 you can enable/disable the inline editing from the host settings. Be sure you have it enabled.

Yes, I have enabled inline editing, thus my ability to make changes without clicking on Edit Text.

The thing that is missing is the toolbar for inline editing. I do not see the option to Save or Cancel my edit. This toolbar only appears when I am editing my module title.

Hmmm, am I the only one experiencing this after an upgrade from 4.4.1 to 4.5.0?

Inline editing using the toolbar is included in version 4.5.0 of the Text/HTML module only, that is included in install and source package of DNN 4.5.0.

AWESOME!

I upgraded the Text/HTML module using the PA from the Install package and presto! Thank you so much for the tip!

I am also experiecing this problem. When I click on the HTML module text, the old red border appears around it and I can edit it, but I don't see the promised tool bar and confirmation icons.

Any thoughts?
