Cured this problem by adding a new alias to the site

I have the same issue with my installation.  What I'm finding is that when I'm on the server and I use http://localhost/dotnetnuke it pulls up the site just fine, but when I use http://127.0.0.1/dotnetnuke or http://192.168.1.10/dotnetnuke it gives the previously mentioned error.

I've tried creating a new virtual directory with new alias, but this hasn't resolved my issue.  Any suggestions please?!

I did find a solution for my issues, I will expand a little more on what was previously suggested on this post.  A new HTTP Alias in DNN is required in order to have remote users to view the site.

1.  Log into the site using the host account
2.  Select Host --> Portals
3.  Select the pencil on the left side of the portal you wish to edit.
4.  Scroll to the bottom and find Portal Aliases
5.  If not expanded expand the container.
6.  Select "Add New HTTP Alias"
7.  In my case I wanted to access the site using http://192.168.1.10/dotnetnuke, so I would enter "192.168.1.10/dotnetnuke"
8.  Add as many aliases you wish using the above example.

Hope this helps!
