Help! I am installing 4.5 new on a maximumasp virtuozzo server. I believe the installation "nearly" completed, but I now get this error. Before this error, I was getting a "too small paging file error", but it has been replaced with the mentioned error. I don't know what if anything support has done that corrected the paging file size error.

Maybe I posted in the wrong forum. I need help! If this problem is too involved to attempt a fix in this format, maybe someone can help me to remove what I have done, and start over.

I deleted the database, and all the Dotnetnuke files and reinstalled. It all works now!

sounds to me like your installation did not complete and the alias created. simply try going to http:/www.yourdomainname.com/install/install.aspx?mode=install and see if it will finish the install. if it does not then you will most likely have to start have to remove the database and start over.

I am a newbie.  I just installed this a couple of hours ago for the first time.  I am getting the same error and I have tried starting over several times and with different selections (typical and auto) going to try the custom one more time.  I tried just deleting the database but that didn't work.

This looks pretty awesome from the demo.  Now, if I can just get it to work!!  Thanks for any help in advance.
