Hello,

I have been developing with (Visual Web Dev) and I had my site running on my local machine. I updated the SQLProvider file to modify some stored procedures. I copied the text of the SQLProvider file into the SQL host window, checked Execute as script and ran it. The resulting page says;

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error
The Assembly Version does not match the Database Version
Could not connect to database, login failed, etc.

I now can't get to anything on the site. What did I do wrong and what do I do to get the version numbers, wherever they are held, to match up? I've seen lots of posts on version mismatches but usually after a DNN upgrade which I didn't do in this case.

Thanks for any help,

Tom

Argh! Nevermind. This was caused by the VWD Express database explorer having a lock on the database.
