Hi all

I didn't make a backup of my site. I know, I know. Even after 27 years in IT you can make mistakes. I was showing off and changed the skin from a third party to the default. Now the site won't load. I get this in the address bar. Don't try to click it, it's just to show the error message I'm getting.

http://localhost/Atlantic/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=Value+cannot+be+null.%0d%0aParameter+name%3a+type&content=0

I'm hoping that if I just put the skin back it will resume normal operation. How do I do that in SQL - since I can't do it via the DNN UI.

Thanks

Just be sure to put your approrpiate skin path in place of the one that I am using!

You can also copy a working skin over to replace the one that isn't working.

Hi Mitchel

That's great information. I was thinking like a database guy and not like a DNN guy!

My problem was solved with the help of Chris Chodnicki and Bob Gates at www.bi4ce.com. I used the admin screen to select a different skin for the site. After that I couldn't get to the home page. Bob via Chris sent me a link to the admin page where I could re-select the skin I wanted. "That's so simple it just might work."

It did! So thanks all and a special thanks to Chris and Bob! Yippeeee! :)
