I have built the module helloworld that is sample in docs. I'm sure that I did all steps. When I try to add this module to page, nothing happens. I wish I could have any error or any hint, is it possible to track the error? I have also add "stop" statements in code. Nothing happens. Seems that my module is completly ignored.

Any suggestion?

thanks in advance.

Did anybody here have chance to install module successfully?

As I said above my installed module is ignored by system without any error or hint when try to add it to the page.

The most strange part  for me is that when creating a new module there is no any error but when I try to import the same module it gives an error  "A critical error has occurred.Empty path name is not legal.

Does anybody know how I can track it?

Is there any option to check if the module installed in system is valid?

Does the system check if the module is valid during creation?

Why dont you add logging to your code and see if it is getting logged with the help of log viewer in dotnetnuke. And let me know if it worked.

Thanks

1. Select HelloWorld.dnn from dropdownlist Manifest.
2. Press link button Create new Module from selected Manifest file.

[If you press button Create, module won't work.]
