Hello, Im a newbie and this is my first post. I've already tried to search the forum about my inquiry but haven't gotten any thread relating to it. My question is fairly simple.... How do I configure the spacing of modules (particularly top and bottom)? Ive gone through the css files and didn't find anything that pertains to increasing or decreasing the spacing between two modules. I don't like the gap between modules and I want to narrow it a bit. I suspect it has something to do with cell-padding or table margin?

Please help... Thanks!

It really depends on the skin/container combination that you are using.  It could be related ot settings in the various .css files used, or it could be in the margins/padding around the container, or the cell padding/spacing of the main layout table.  It really depends on the skin!

Thanks for the tip mitchel! I've already done some .css file checking and couldn't seem to find the code that does the narrowing of module gaps. I went to check the css entries of:  skin.css (under //portals/skins/DNN Gray Fixed width) and container.css (under //_default/contairners/DNN-Gray) already. If the tweaking cannot be done via the css, could it be in the module template? But there's no such thing, I think. If there is such a tempplate, does this mean that I have to go and check every module folder and look for the .html document?

You might actually have to modify table properties set in the .ascx skin and container files.

Salamat (thanks), Mitchel!

I'm able to tweak it inside one of the .ascx files under \\DNNsite\Portals\_default\Containers\DNN-Gray. I opened the Image Header - Color Background.ascx file and simply removed the <BR> tag in the end. Now the distance between modules are narrower.

Again, thanks for the tip!
