I am trying to install the latest version using the installer and when I hit the Test Database connection  I get the following message:

Message: An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file \dotnetnuke451\App_Data\rhDatabase.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

I change the database name and the reference in the web.config file.

in both

<!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express --> and

<!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules -->

Do I need to make any other changes.

My guess is that you already have a database on  your db server that has the same name as the internal database name that is being created by the .mdf file.  I do not believe there is an easy way to change the db name used internally to the mdf file.
