I am getting the same problem after installing Text/HTML module 4.05.00 in a DNN 4.4.1 installation just in case this helps anyone track down the problem. The previous module version worked fine.

Is there a way to install the previous module version again, given the site is completely down with this error?

Nick

For what its worth I'm having the exact same scenario as Nick. DNN 4.4.1, Text/HTML module 4.05.00.

I removed all *html*dll files from bin to a separate folder.  The site runs again and I can choose to add the module to a page but then get the message:  An error has occurred. Error: Text/HTML is currently unavailable.  I can change settings on the module but cannot add content due to the error.

How do I revert to a previous version of the module?  Thank you,

Mark B

I'm getting this also.

It's a bit of a worry when you upgrade a component and the whole web site goes down - even the fact that you can't upload an old module to revert back because you can't even access this page.

Are modules checked by someone before they're uploaded?

This is a very serious bug that needs immediate attention.

Thanks,

Rod
