Hello to all,

I restored a dnn 4.4.1 installation on a new machine. I mantained the http alias and I can navigate inside.

The problem is that the navigation menu (the one with home->[subpages]) is not shown.

I log as admin or host, the menu is always absent (this time also Administration is absent) and if I click on "Site" (as admin) or "Install new features" as host the portal remain in an endless loop (e.g. the browser seems running but not link are shown)

What can be the problem?

Are yiou 100% sure that the portal alias is correct for the machine that the site is currently hosted on?

Also, are you using a custom or built in skin?  Have you made any recent changes to the display/configuration of the site other than the move from one server to another?

I recreated the correct alias and the portal shows ok

In the main portal we have a custom sking but only some graphics is changed, based on one of the orginal. I have also installed a fresh new portal (with original skin) and I have the same problem (menu not showing and admin/host operations unavailable or not opening).
