Hi,

On creating a new site using the Starter Kit for DNN 4.5.1 (latest), I get the following error:

Could not find file

'c:\......\DotNetNuke.webproj'

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Graeme

Hello,

I am seeing this error all over with installs of the DNN 4.5.1 starter kit,  core team slipped something up on this one.

Wonder how long it will take to get a fix?

I injected the DOTNETNUKE.webproj file from the DOTNETNUKE_4.4.1_StarterKit.zip into the DOTNETNUKE_04.05.01_Starterkit.zip file and everything appears to work inside Visual Web Developer OK.

If you do this (until the core team fixes this issue), put the DOTNETNUKE.webproj file into the DOTNETNUKE.ZIP file contained in the starter kit archive.

Good Luck.

Michael

I've a quick solution for it,

download and open the DotNetNuke 4.4.1.vsi pack in winrar / winzip.

Extract the dotnetnuke.zip file.

Open the dotnetnuke.zip file with winrar / winzip and extract the 'DotNetNuke.webproj'

Browse to the default install location for the real DotNetNuke.zip file, on my machine it is in '\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic' and add the DotNetNuke.webproj to the zip file.

I've just tested project creation and it works fine on my machine.
