Upgraded 4.5 to 4.5.1, changed the connection strings but forgot machine keys.  Could not log in.  Updated machine keys, cycled the web site and still could not login, bad username or password.  Registered a new user, edited the database to change that user account to a superusers and can log in.  Tried to change the password on Admin and Host accounts, after entering new password I get a Bad Data error.  Log entry is below.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jeff

Couldn't you delete the admin and host user and then recreate them?

Since you have working accounts you can copy a working password over to your existing accounts.

On my blog site (http://www.mitchelsellers.com) I have an article that outlines the process including the SQL Scripts needed.
