You are right. changing the line:

DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.LinkClick(mylink, Me.PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID, -1)

to

DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.LinkClick(mylink, Me.PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID, -1,false)

will solve your problem. The DNN core was managing the track flag as true by default (It makes no sense to me)

I will include an option for this in the next release.

Thank you so much for looking into this. When should we aspect an update in the code ? I would recomple myself but I don't have the current source. I could get the source through reflection but would rather not.

Thanks again

Yes, I have just tried this, and it does not work neither...
I have disabled Ventrian Friendly URLs, and it seems that it is not linked (I still have the problem).
I will make a new post, since it is different than your problem. Thanks for the help, I will closely follow this issue.

I just remembered. I had the same problem when I first upgraded to DNN 4.5.0 but it was corrected as soon as I updated to DNN 4.5.1 Then I had to reset the file folder permissions to give network service full control and I also unchecked the read only flag on Folder Permissions General Tab.  Hope this helps. Are you using DNN 4.5.1 ? If not you should update to it.

As the source code is available, you can build your own fix while the new version comes.
