I installed 4.5.1 under a virtual directory. /home/. and set it as a web application.

The installation are all fine. But I can not load the site after that .

It always sends me to /home/install/ when I try to request / home/default.aspx

I am using  DiscountAsp.net web hosting space for my site. Is there anything I missed on installation?

thanks

Just a warning, if you are running on a Partial Trust server, you could run into problems running the site in a sub-folder. Even if the folder is set as an Application Starting Point. This only happens on ASP.NET 2.0, not 1.1.

When you installed the application, did the install complete? It could be that the installation did not complete and thus it is trying "install" itself again.

it looks like all completed. I saw the congra! message.

Also I checked the database, call SP and tables are there.

here is the detail error message I got:

Directory Listing Denied

This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

Do I have to turn on the directory browsing? Currently it's off.

No.  You don't need directory browsing.  Quick question, does the site have Default.aspx defined as the default file to execute?

Just to test, use the full URL like www.yourdomain.com/default.aspx and see what happens.
