I am trying to install 4.5.1, new install, on share hosting site.   I am getting this error.

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

I entered the customeErrors right under the system.web in the webconfig as instructed. This same error still comes up.  Is this because it hassnt really "built" the site yet?  Does anyone know how to determine what is causing the error?

Site = www.chickenplus.info

<system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>

Typically if you are unable to change the display after updating your hosting provider has your site set to use ASP.NET 1.1 instead of 2.0.

You will want to check with them!

If this is a subfolder, make sure it's configured as an application.  And double check the ASP.NET version for the application in IIS.

This is a shared hosting accout on godaddy.  I am afraid all I can do is check that the 2.0 is checked in the Domain management area and it is.   I can check permisions on folders, but not files.
