Hi There

I have a question for you. I and trying to send emails from the newsletter module and I never receive the emails.

But when I send the email I get a confirmation on the top of the module stating that the email was sent correctly

 

any suggestions

The confirmation simply means the email was handed off to the SMTP server without errors.  Between the sending server and your mailbox any number of things can happen.  Most likely is your ISP blocked it as SPAM or your own spam filters caught it.  Check SMTP logs to see and check your quarrantine.

Hi There

 

Here is a screen shot of my configuration page

DNN sates that the email was sent. I receive the email confirmation from the webmaster of the site 

All this is fine but once  I try to send email with the info letter  nothing works

 

any ideas ?

Why is your SMTP server blank? Be sure to fill in the field and hit UPDATE at the bottom of the page before you try using the newsletter functionality. If you just hit TEST it won't save the setting to the DB

Also, if this is an anonymous access SMTP server (meaning it will allow you to send email without logging in) then it doesn't need a username.
