I am running DNN 4.50 and looking at the Google Site Maps feature.  I am using Scott McCulloughs New Article module on the site as well.

What I am seeing is it only creates a site map for pages in the menu system.  I have several news articles in the site and the Google Site Map output does not show them.  Is this by design or is there a configuration setting somewhere I am missing to let it create one for entire site?

Thanks

It is by design.  As with the other site map modules out there it is not able to know about links inside individual modules.

Now, one thing I have noticed is even though individual articles are not listed from the News Articles module entries are included in the Google index VERY quickly, at least they have been with my site!

at present it only works at the page level, but we're discussing how best to handle exposing other content. Perhaps the one @ http://www.bitethebullet.co.uk/tabid/59/Default.aspx might suit.

FYI the bitethebullet module works for the core blog module but does not do anything different for the ventrian news article module.
