Please somebody look at these sites and help.

www.chickensplus.com is portal 0

www.chickensplus.com/dnn/rockford is portal 1 child of portal 0.

First when you go to the child the ability to register goes away.

Second I have set up www.rockholdaviaries.info to alias to www.chickensplus/dnn/rockford  or portal1 if you will and it goes to portal 0.  This is a new install of verion 4.4.1.

I know this is dangerous but here goes, I have setup a host account user godad pass godad123, the hosting company says this is a DNN problem and I havent set the portals up correctly.  I need help, I promised this site to a person.  Thank you.

Okay, the issue is the order of your alias's. The first entry is always the default. You never mentioned you had multiple entries. So, what you need to do is change the first entry on both portals to what you want that site to be. Then, when you enter the site from an alternate alais it will redirect  to the default (1st) alias. Understand?

Okay, your alias's are pointing the correct based on both domains being parent's. However, the www.rockholdaviaries.info domain does not appear to be hosted from the correct directory. What directory did you map it to?

It should be mapped to the /dnn directory or whatever your root dotnetnuke directory is that is.

Okay, sorry for so many posts back to back but...

I don't know how you have your directory mapped but wherever chickensplus.com is mapped is where you want to map the rockholdaviaries.info as well because if you add /dnn to that alias it works fine. So, change the directory mapping for that domain up one level and you will be set. Or just add /dnn back to the alias which ever you choose.

Take care.
