I read many things about developing and setting up modules. So I could manage all that to write my first complete DNNized module ! So It's a good time to delete that module from my page.

It works great ! But what about the data behind this ? There are ISearchable, IPortable, IUprageadable interfaces I can add into my controller, but apparently nothing to delete unused data ?

So i'm just looking around :-)

Thanks

Laurent

When you deploy your module in the package ypu typically have a uninstall.sqldataprovider object that removes module specific data upon uninstall of the module from the DNN site

Thanks,

But my concern is was when I'm deleting a module from a page... How to catch this event and delete the data related to the module of that page.

Thanks

Laurent

As far as I know that is not something that is easily built in.  I guess potentially if you build a foreign key into the tabmoduleid, moduleid, or other table you could put an ON DELETE cascade requirement on it, but I don't think that is all that good of an idea.
