How upgrade DNN on Godaddy hosting ?Current version is 4.4.1 to 4.5

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. The upgrade package cant be unzipped on to the godaddy DNN folder. The only thing I can think of is copying the entire folder on to my machine, upgradin it locally and ftping it back onto the godaddy server.

Did you find out anything? Help would be much appreciated. The installation wizard with 4.5 sounds really good, but dont know when its going to be out.

Very sad !

In time when I want to upgrade I have about 20 ! users on my portal.

I changed webconfig exactly by instructions,was error with database on godaddy.com.

Then I made some adjustments and run upgrade again,and install happened instead of upgrade !

I got "lucky"  that i did not delete old db. So now I manualy adding  users/post, back to portal...

Be honest,I like Godaddy support Respond,not the technical Suport .Most of supporters just talk nice,and convince to upgrade your plan,but in my case he dont even know what is Dotnetnuke is,after 5 min waithing time,he declare that Dnn is 3rd party soft,and they can't help. So I just talling as is .... Is there better Host then Goddady.com ?
