OK I am using 3.2.1 with framework 1.1.4322.2032. I have many pages I need to change, I log in using the host account and navigate to the page I need to change. I click on edit for the module I want to change and it just logs me out. I cannot change anything on that page I have to re-create the page to stop this from happening. After a while of the new page working correctly it starts to log me out again... What on erth can this be? It is reallt annoying and is really limiting the functionality of my DNN site. Please help!

btw This only happens in IE not FireFox, can it be the way IE handles cookies?

I am getting a similar problem... except mine is to do with Child Portals.  I log in, and if I don't do anything for about 10 seconds, I get logged out.  Doesn't seem to happen on my parent portal, just the child one.

I was looking around to see if it might be something to do with the fact the server is behind ISA2000 using web publishing, but perhaps not if you're experiencing the same problem! hmmmm.  I am also running v3.2.1 but build 2300 of the .net framework.

I have temporarily found a solution, use FireFox. It seems to be a problem in the way IE handles cookies, they keep getting dropped. If I use FireFox I have no problems at all.

I have found my solution too, or at least seems to be the solution.

The DNN portal is hosted on a server behind ISA 2000 firewall with Web Publication.  The child portal was set up with the alias of www.esys.co.uk/satmac (where our main portal was just www.esys.co.uk).  When I then added an additional alias of localhost/child the problem disappeared.  Now, whether this has something to do with the way that ISA is publishing the website to the Internet and how DNN is interpretting this, I don't know.  However, it seems to work with the additional alias, so perhaps it's also a slight glitch in DNN.

Hope this helps others!

Dave.
