Everyone,

I truly feel I have found a diamond in the ruff at www.3Essentials.Com.  Their space is generous on the Multiple Domain plans, and I have never had a site go down.

Warning: I do everything manually for my DNN installs, so you may want to consider other options if you're not into the manual remote installation.

Service: Awesome.  Response-time is almost always within 15 minutes to 25 minutes of when I submit a trouble ticket.
Trouble tickets actually work with 3Essentials, unlike ihost.  They respond by phone or by email very quickly, and have an excellent technical team.

Price: Unbeatable.  Plenty of space if you go with at least a minimum multiple domain account (B10 account).

Remote Database Acces: Fantastic... their mini-studio direct access to your database is almost like you're right in SQL Management Studio.

Control Panel: Plesk... leaves something to be desired for automated DNN installs, but other wise is very good.

Moving DNN sites: Very helpful, they will restore your database for you, no hidden charges.

I could NOT be more pleased since moving from ihost to 3Essentials.

If you like what you find there, please purchase through my referal link:

I have been hosting one site on PowerDNN and I agree with everything above: good support, but a bit more costly (not that big of a deal as far as I'm concerned).  the downsides, as far as I am concerned occur if you want to host more than one site or multiple sites on the same DNN installation.  Pricing gets big fast and there are more limitations than I like - not enough domain names, e-mail hosting is not very flexible.  i don't find them a particularly good alternative for hosting multiple domains.

I think for that you'd need to go with a Dedicated Server option.  I've heard that Gate isn't that bad with that opinion, but still would have to side with powerdnn at this point.  I've still got one site on gate.com, and it goes down 3-4 times a day.  My PowerDNN site, hasn't gone down even once so far.  After only a couple of weeks I've got to say, if your are limited to a shared hosting environment, I would recommend looking into PowerDNN.  If it is an issue of cost, just think about all of the time you'll have not having to fight with tech support.  For me that alone makes up the difference.

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

I use IHostASP and I am surprised on the days that my site is actually running when I take a look at it.

I used IHOSTASP.NET reseller hosting and was never happy with it. The server goes down time to time. No support after 5pm or weekend, so if your site goes down on Friday aftter 5pm then you are in trouble as it will not be worked on until Monday. Support is horrible in terms of timely response. I had to make same request over and over again to connect to sql remotely.
