Hi all,

I downloaded DNN 4.0.2 Starter Kit. When I try to add a database to the app_Data under Solution Explorer  I am getting following error

"Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in starting the process for the user instance. The connection will be closed"

My research about error turned out not too much relevant information. I suspect the error is caused because I have two user accounts in my computer and default database folder might be different.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Baha

I would guess that there was a problem installing your copy of SQL Server Xpress when you installed Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Web Developer.
